Fresh Bay Farms (Opc) Private Limited is run from 7A Hig in the Bhel Hig Colonymadhavnatar. Being an 'Opc' means it is a one-person company, but there is always someone around to help. The colony is a quiet place, and we like it that way. Most of the work involves managing the small-scale farming operations we have going on. It’s not a huge industrial setup. We focus on small batches and making sure things are done right. The office is basically a room in the house filled with ledgers and seeds. We don't have a staff of people in suits. Most days are spent in old t-shirts and jeans. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to vendors or checking the prices of fertilizer. The BHEL colony is a good place to be based because it is peaceful. We don't have any big advertisements or a sales team. People usually find out about us through word of mouth. It’s a slow way to grow, but it feels more natural. Sometimes the rain makes the roads in the colony a bit muddy, but we don't mind. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. It’s a simple operation, and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. Just one person trying to run a farm business.
