Dawarvadi Farmer Producer Company Limited is based right here in Dawarwadi village. You can find us at the residence of Sarita Shivaji Patil, at house number 599/3. We are a small group of farmers who live and work in this area. It isn't a massive operation with shiny floors. It is just a few of us trying to coordinate our farming efforts better. Sarita Patil oversees a lot of the paperwork from her home address. Dawarwadi is where our roots are. We know every field and path around here. Being a producer company means we can talk to each other about prices and seeds more formally. We are not experts in business, but we know how to grow things. The location is just a regular house in the village. It is practical for us since we are always nearby. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. Most people in the village already know where we are. We just wanted a way to be more organized. Some days are slow and others are very busy with the harvest. We just take it as it comes. It feels right to have a local name like Dawarvadi in our company title. We are just folks from the land trying to stay together. That is really the whole story of who we are.
