Ashta Gold Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Ankalkhop, which is in the Palus Taluka. We are located at Mahipati Ramchandra Fadnale’s house, which is Home Number 821. Being in a village like Ankalkhop means everyone is connected to the land in one way or another. We didn’t see the point in renting a fancy office in town when Mahipati had the space and it’s right where the action is. Our days are spent talking to the neighbors about their harvests and trying to figure out the best way to move our crops. The name Ashta Gold sounds a bit fancy, but we’re just regular farmers. Our office is just a room with a few ledgers and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It gets a bit noisy when the village activities are in full swing, but we don't mind. We aren't here to impress anyone with corporate talk or polished presentations. We just want to make sure the work gets done and that the farmers in Palus get a fair shake. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, and the floor could probably use a good sweep, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy with real work. It’s a humble place, but it’s ours, and it serves the purpose we need it to. We just get on with things without making a big fuss about it.
