Aannai Crop Protection Private Limited is right on the main road in Ashta, which is in the Walva taluka of Sangli. We are located in the Sathe Sankul building at 340/5. Being on the main road means we get a lot of foot traffic from farmers who are coming into town for their supplies. We mostly deal with things like pesticides and other stuff that helps protect crops from failing. It's a small shop and office combined. Sangli is a big agricultural hub, so there is always someone coming in with a leaf that has spots on it or asking why their plants are wilting. We try to help them find the right spray or powder to fix the issue. It's not a glamorous job, and the shop is often filled with the smell of the products we keep in stock. We don't have any fancy mission statements; we just sell what we have and try to be helpful to the people who walk through the door. The team here is just a few locals who know about farming in this area. We have been at this for a while now, and we know most of our regular customers by name. It’s a busy life, especially when the pests are bad, but it’s what we do. We just keep the shelves stocked and hope the weather stays good for the farmers around Ashta.
