You can find us at the Tuljabhavani Kisan Seva Kendar, which is where Shantanu Shahjirao Deshmukh runs things. Shaantanu Agro Producer Company Limited is basically an extension of what we were already doing in the village. It’s a busy spot with farmers coming and going all day long. We talk about fertilizers, seeds, and the weather mostly. It’s a practical setup, nothing too grand. We are right in the middle of the action here. Dealing with the daily needs of the fields keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we run out of space for all the bags, and things get a little cluttered. But that’s just how a working place looks. We don’t use big words or have long meetings. We just decide what needs to be moved or sold and then we do it. The Seva Kendar is a familiar place for everyone around here. It feels right to have the producer company based out of a spot where people already gather. We’ve seen many seasons pass through these doors. Some years are dry and some are wet, but we stay put. It’s about sticking together and making sure the crops we work so hard on actually get somewhere. We aren't trying to be anything other than what we are, just people working the land in our corner of the world. It’s a long day’s work but we like it.
