It’s a typical farm house where there’s always something happening. We deal with agrofoods, which basically means we take what we grow and try to get it ready for people to eat. Dhavali is a small place, and everyone knows each other’s business. We aren't some big corporation from the city. We are just a group of farmers who thought it would be smarter to work as one group instead of everyone doing their own thing. The work is tough, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. We have plenty of muddy days and plenty of dusty ones too. We don't have any professional writers to make us sound good. We just tell it like it is. We grow what the land allows, and we try to make sure it doesn't go to waste. Uttam’s place is usually full of crates and the smell of fresh produce. We spend hours talking about the best way to plant or when to harvest. Sometimes we disagree on things, but that’s just how it goes when you have a lot of people involved. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s not fancy, but it is honest and it keeps us busy.
