Kokanbag Agro Tourism Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in the Raipatan area of Rajapur. If you are looking for us, we are at Mahesh Laxman Palasuledesai’s place in Bagwadi. Raipatan is a beautiful part of the Konkan region, and we really wanted to show that off while also keeping the farming side of things alive. We aren't some big resort company. We are just local farmers who think that people from the city might enjoy seeing how things grow here. It’s a mix of agriculture and tourism, but it’s very basic and real. We have mango trees, cashews, and all the usual things you find in Rajapur. Sometimes the rain in Konkan is so heavy it stops everything, and other times the heat is just too much. We deal with it as it comes. Managing a producer company while also thinking about visitors is a lot to handle. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the orchards and making sure the paths are clear for anyone walking through. We don't have any professional tour guides; it’s just us telling stories about the land and what we plant. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but that is how we like it. We hope that by doing this, we can keep the local community going. It’s not a fancy life, but working in Bagwadi is what we know best.
