Alphonsogold Agro Producer Company Limited

Out here in Bhirkond Sangameshwar, things move at a different pace. Our spot is at House No 31, which is where we started Alphonsogold Agro. The name says it all because we focus on the fruit that grows so well in this soil. It isn’t some big factory with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a house where we keep the crates and handle the sorting. The weather can be a real pain sometimes, especially when the rains come early, but we do our best to get the mangoes ready. My cousins and a few friends from the village help out with the picking and packing. We spend a lot of time talking about the trees and how the season is looking. Last year was tough, but this year seems okay so far. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just tell people what we have and they come by or we send it out. It’s mostly about making sure the fruit doesn't get bruised. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. Some people think we should have a big office in the city, but why bother? Everything we need is right here in Bhirkond. We’ve got the trees, the space, and the people who know how to work. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and work.
