Dapoli Gramoday Farmers Producer Company Limited is located on Mandangad Road at house number 784. We are a group of farmers from the Dapoli area who decided it was time to work together. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. We don’t have a lot of big signs or fancy furniture. Mostly, we just have a space where we can store some supplies and meet to talk about our plans. Being on Mandangad Road makes it easy for the trucks to come and go when we have a harvest ready. We focus on what the local land provides. It’s a lot of work to keep a company running when you are also busy in the fields, but we manage by helping each other out. We started this because we wanted to have more of a say in how our produce is handled. Most of us have known each other for years, so there is a lot of trust in the group. We don't really have a boss, just a board of directors made up of the same people who are out there planting the seeds. It is an honest way to do business, and it keeps the money within our local community. We take things slow and try to make sure we don’t make too many mistakes along the way.
