Tejpata Restaurant Llp

Tejpata Restaurant Llp is our little spot in the New Pundag area. If you know Sail City, we are right around there at Plot No. 5145 and 5146. It is quite close to the Hanuman Mandir, so people usually find us by looking for the temple first. We’ve been working out of this location for a bit now and it has its ups and downs like any other place. Being on Road No. 1 makes it easy for people to stop by when they are heading home or just out for a walk in the neighborhood. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or anything. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the tables are clean. The name Tejpata comes from the leaf we use in a lot of dishes, which seemed simple enough for a restaurant. Sometimes it gets really loud when there is a festival at the temple, but we like the energy of the area. The staff here is mostly local people who live nearby in Pundag or around Sail City. We don't have a giant menu because we figured it's better to just do a few things that people actually like eating. It can be a struggle sometimes to keep everything running smoothly when the power goes out or when we run out of certain ingredients unexpectedly, but that is just how it is in the restaurant business. We are just here doing our thing.
