Food In

Our place, Food In, is located right on Station Road in Kishan Singh Colony. Being so close to the Ranchi Railway Station means we see a lot of people coming and going all the time. It’s not a big restaurant with white tablecloths or anything like that. It’s just a spot where you can get a meal when you’re hungry. We’ve been here in this part of Ranchi for some time now. The kitchen is always busy, especially when a big train arrives and travelers are looking for something to eat quickly before their next trip. We do our best to keep things clean, but the station area is always crowded and noisy. I handle most of the daily work along with a couple of helpers who have been with me for a while. We buy our vegetables fresh from the market every morning. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening if the day was busier than we expected. People usually come in for a quick plate of rice or some snacks. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the summer heat in Jharkhand. We don't spend money on advertising, people just find us because we are near the Gurudwara. It's a simple setup with basic tables and chairs. We just focus on getting the food out to the tables as fast as we can. It’s a noisy, lively spot and we like it that way.
