We are located on Tagore Hill Road in Morabadi. It’s a nice enough area, and we get a lot of people walking by, especially in the mornings and evenings when the weather is good. Our shop is pretty basic. We spend most of our time in the back where the cooking happens. There is always the smell of something sweet or savory in the air. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just open up in the morning, get the food ready, and wait for people to stop in. Morabadi is a place where everyone knows each other, so we see the same faces quite often. Sometimes the hill gets crowded with tourists, and that makes things a bit busier for us. We keep our shelves stocked as best as we can. The workers here are local people who live nearby. We don’t have a polished way of talking about our business. It’s just a food shop on a well-known road. We focus on keeping the place tidy and making sure the trays are full. It can be a long day, standing on our feet and dealing with the heat from the ovens. We don’t do anything special for promotion; we just keep the doors open. If you’re walking toward Tagore Hill, you’ll likely pass right by us. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living for all of us here.
