Our fast food shop is on the first floor of the Jay Ganesh Complex. It is right on the 150 Feet Ring Road in Rajkot, not far from the petrol pump and the police chowki. We get a lot of students coming up from Disha Class when they have a break. It's a small space, but we make it work. Most days it's just a rush of people wanting something quick to eat before they head back to work or home. We do a lot of frying and tossing things in pans. The smell of oil and spices is always in the air. We don't have a lot of tables, so people often stand or take their food to go. It gets quite hot in the kitchen, especially in the afternoons. We've been at this location for some time now. You have to walk up the stairs to find us. It isn't a fancy restaurant with waiters; you just tell us what you want and we make it. We keep our ingredients in the back and prep everything in the morning. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the day is busier than we expected. That's just part of the job. We know the regulars by their orders. The 150 Feet Ring Road is always noisy, but we are used to it by now. It's just a regular fast food joint for regular people who want a hot snack.
