Kanaiya Parotha House

Kanaiya Parotha House is on Sadguru Ashram Road in Rajkot. We are right opposite Aan Automobile. If you are looking for fresh parothas, this is where we make them every day. We use a big iron tawa and plenty of oil or butter if that's what you like. The place is quite small. We don't have many tables, so we stay very busy in the evenings. Most of our customers prefer to take the food home to their families. Our address is 360003. We don't do much else besides parothas and maybe one or two types of curry. It’s a very simple menu. I’ve been working here since I was a young man. The road outside gets very busy with cars and motorbikes. Since we are near the ashram road, lots of people pass by every hour. We try to keep the taste of the food exactly the same every single day. It’s not a fancy restaurant with waiters. Just a place to get a quick, hot meal. The smoke from the stove often fills the front area of the shop. Some people like to stand and watch us cook on the tawa. It's honest work and we like it. We don't have a website or any of those things. Just the shop on the side of the road. People know us by our name and the smell of the food. We don't need much else to run things. We just want to serve good food to the people.
