Annapurna Vip Dining Hall

Annapurna Vip Dining Hall is on the main road in Rajkot, right across from Naklang Tea Stall on University Road. We are at JK Chowk. Despite the name "VIP," we are a pretty down-to-earth place. We mostly serve thalis to students from the university and people working in the offices nearby. It’s a big room with long tables where people sit together. It’s not about private dining; it’s about getting a good meal and moving on with your day. The kitchen is always steaming with big pots of dal and vegetables. We don't have a lot of variety, just the daily thali which changes a bit every day depending on what's available. The noise level is high because of the main road and all the students talking. We’ve got a few big fans to keep the air moving. It gets very crowded at lunch, around 1:00 PM. You might have to wait for a seat sometimes. We don’t do reservations or anything like that. You just show up and find a spot. It’s a simple operation run by a small team. We focus on getting the food out fast because our customers are usually in a hurry. It’s a practical place for a daily meal. We’ve been at JK Chowk for years, and we’ve seen the university grow around us. We aren't fancy, but we know how to feed a crowd. Everyone is treated the same here, whether they are a student or a local worker.
