Mayur Food Zone

Our shop is on Jetpur Road in Dhoraji. It’s part of the Rajkot district, 360410. We are right on the main road that heads out towards Jetpur, so we get a lot of people who are traveling between towns. It’s a dusty road and there’s always trucks passing by, making a lot of noise. We called it Mayur Food Zone because we wanted to have a bit of everything for the travelers. It’s a simple setup. We have some tables and chairs, nothing too fancy. People stop here to stretch their legs and get something to eat before they continue their journey. We serve the usual local food that people in Gujarat like. I spend most of my time making sure the kitchen is stocked and that we have enough drinking water for everyone. Dhoraji is a small place compared to Rajkot city, but it has its own pace. We know a lot of the truck drivers and the local guys who work in the nearby fields or shops. They stop by for a quick lunch or some tea. We don’t have a website or any of that. If you’re driving on Jetpur Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s a straightforward business. We provide food to people passing through and we’ve been doing it like this for years. It’s just how things are out here on the highway. We keep the fans running to deal with the heat and the dust outside.
