Vrundavan Caterers

We are located at Vrujvihar 2 in Tagore Nagar, which is right by the Kalawad Road University Campus area. It’s a good location in Rajkot because there are always students and people moving around the university. Our setup here is pretty basic because we spend most of our time actually cooking rather than sitting at a desk. Vrundavan Caterers is basically just a group of us who enjoy the process of preparing large meals. The kitchen stays active most days of the week. We start early, often before the sun is fully up, to get the base of the dishes started. The smell of the tempering often drifts out into the street. It’s a quiet enough street in Tagore Nagar, but Kalawad Road itself is just a stone's throw away and always buzzing. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just show up, do the work, and make sure everything is loaded into the vans properly. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when we have multiple orders, but we’ve learned how to manage the space we have. We’ve been in this neighborhood long enough that we know most of the people who live around Vrujvihar. It feels like a community here. We aren't a big corporation; we are just local folks making food for local events. It’s a decent living and we take it one day at a time. We don't need much more than that to be satisfied with our work.
