Uni-Tech Machines

Uni-Tech Machines is a bit tucked away, honestly. You have to go behind Glowtech Steel to find our entrance. It is not a fancy place with a big glass front or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. The ground is often a bit oily. That is just the nature of working with machines all day. We have been in this spot for some time now. Some mornings it is quite cold when we first open the shutters, but once the machines start running, it warms up fast. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the work involves getting our hands dirty and making sure everything is running right. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we do not need to talk much to know what needs doing next. There is always a stack of metal somewhere and tools scattered on the benches. We try to keep things tidy but by three in the afternoon, the floor is covered in shavings again. It is a loud place, you have to raise your voice to be heard over the hum. When lunch comes, we sit together and talk about normal things, not just the job. Then it is back to the noise until it is time to lock up and head home to our families.
