We are out here in the G.I.D.C. Aji-2 area, specifically at Plot No. 250 on Q-Road. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise from the nearby factories and trucks rumbling past our gate. It’s a practical location for a bearing company. The shop floor is usually where most of the action happens. We have stacks of inventory everywhere. It’s organized, but it doesn't always look pretty to someone walking in from the outside. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Our staff mostly wears work clothes because things can get greasy. We spend our days checking sizes and making sure the shipments are ready to go. It’s a lot of physical work combined with keeping track of the inventory numbers. We have a small office area where the phone rings quite a bit. Usually, it's someone looking for a specific part for a machine that’s broken down. We try to help them out as quickly as we can. There isn't a lot of small talk here; we just get to the point. The weather out here gets really hot in the summer, so the warehouse can feel like an oven sometimes. We just drink plenty of water and keep going. It’s hard work, but it is what we do to keep things moving. We just take care of our machines and the parts we handle.
