Tejas Mukhwas House

Tejas Mukhwas House is right there at Kotecha Chowk. If you know the city at all, you know the chowk. It is a very central spot and there is always something going on. We have been here for a good long time, selling mukhwas to everyone who passes through. The shop isn't very large, but we pack it full. Kotecha Chowk is the kind of place where you see all sorts of people at all hours. It can get pretty loud with the horns and the shouting, but that’s just life in a busy junction. We like the energy of it. People stop their scooters or hop out of cars just to grab what they need from us. It is a very traditional way of doing business. We don't have a website or any of that, we just rely on being right here where people are. The smell of the different seeds and spices is always in the air around our door. It’s a small family-run feeling place. We know a lot of the regulars who come by Kotecha Chowk every day. Sometimes we just stand at the counter and watch the traffic go by when it’s a bit slow. But mostly, we are busy with the customers. It is a simple life and a simple business. We are just a part of the daily rhythm at Kotecha Chowk.
