Shree Padharo Tradtional Food Court

Shree Padharo Traditional Food Court is on Sadar Bazar Main Road in Rajkot. We are right opposite Sangam Chikki and near that famous Satyavijay Patel Ice Cream shop. It is a very busy street. There are always people walking around and shops everywhere. Our place is meant to feel traditional, like the name says. We didn't want it to look like a modern cafe. We have wooden touches and tried to keep a bit of the old style. It's a food court, so it's quite open. You can see the people cooking. We serve the kind of food we grew up eating in Gujarat. We don't use any fancy techniques. It is just honest cooking over a flame. The noise from the main road is always there in the background. Sometimes the parking nearby is a nightmare because Sadar Bazar is so crowded. We tell people to just walk if they can. Our staff are local guys from around Rajkot. They don't wear uniforms, just clean clothes. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just put a sign out front and wait for people to come in. It gets very hot in the afternoons, but we have fans going. It’s a simple operation. We open in the morning and stay until the dinner crowd thins out. If you are shopping in the bazaar, you can stop by for a quick bite.
