Saurashtra Industries

We operate out of Metal House on Dhebar Road, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. Being near the Andh Mahila Vikas Gruh makes it easy to give people directions when they’re trying to find Saurashtra Industries for the first time. The building itself has that old industrial feel to it, with heavy doors and the sound of metal being moved around. It’s a noisy street, Dhebar Road always has traffic, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our windows. Inside, we’re mostly focused on the day-to-day tasks of running a shop. We’ve been in this location for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. It’s a practical space. We have stacks of supplies and tools everywhere you look. It isn't a showroom; it's a place where work actually happens. The staff here mostly grew up in the area, so we know the neighbors well. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the day's schedule. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. We just show up at Metal House, open the gates, and get through the list of things that need doing. It’s a solid, honest place to work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the road. It gets busy but we manage.
