Santosh Chapdi Undhiyu

Santosh Chapdi Undhiyu is located in the Krishna Complex, which is at the 3-Archna Park Corner on University Road. If you are in Rajkot, you probably know the area because it is right opposite Panchayat Nagar. I started this place because I liked making traditional food, and it just grew from there. The shop is not very large, so during the busy hours, people often stand around outside on the corner. We specialize in Chapdi Undhiyu, and that is pretty much what we focus on every single day. My hands are usually covered in flour or spices from morning until night. University Road gets a lot of students and office workers, so we stay pretty busy. The 360005 area has changed a lot over the years, but we have stayed right here in the same complex. We do not have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from their neighbors. It can get a bit hectic when a big group shows up all at once, and sometimes we run out of food earlier than expected. That is just how it goes when you make everything fresh. We are just a small local spot trying to keep the traditional tastes alive in a busy part of Rajkot. There is no corporate office, just a kitchen and a counter where we serve our neighbors every day.
