Our place is tucked away in the Ashish Setubandh Society, which is right behind Mahila College near the University Campus. It’s a nice, quiet spot compared to the rest of Rajkot, though it gets busy when classes are out and students are everywhere. We’ve been cooking here for many years. We’re a small, tight-knit group, mostly family members and a few local workers who have been with us through everything. We don't have a big corporate office or a lot of fancy equipment. We use the same big stoves and heavy iron pans that we’ve had since we started. Most of our customers are people from the university or the surrounding society who have tried our food at local events. We avoid using lots of artificial colors or heavy oils because we want the food to be simple and honest. Sometimes we are running around trying to finish a big order and things get a little stressful, but we always make it work somehow. The university area has a lot of life, and we enjoy being a part of the community here. We don't spend money on big ads because we find that if we do a good job, people will eventually find us. We aren't trying to be some massive brand; we are just a local kitchen doing our best to make sure the food is fresh and the flavors are right for every meal we serve.
