We are located at Shreeji Krupa on Raiya Road, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Rajkot. Our catering business started out very small, just helping out with food for local neighborhood gatherings and small family events. Over the years, we have expanded a bit, but we still keep that same local feel. We don't have a professional office or a fleet of branded trucks. Usually, it's just us and a few hired hands when the orders get big. Raiya Road is always full of traffic, so we have to plan our deliveries very carefully to make sure everything arrives while it's still hot. We focus on the kinds of dishes that people in Rajkot have been eating for generations. We don't try to do fancy fusion food or anything that we don't understand ourselves. My brother looks after the accounts and I spend most of my time in the kitchen checking the taste of the gravies and the texture of the rice. It's not a glamorous life, and we often have flour on our clothes and the smell of onions on our hands. But we like what we do. We aren't trying to build an empire; we just want to make sure that when someone hires us for their daughter's wedding or a housewarming, they don't have to worry about the food. It’s just simple, honest cooking from our family to yours.
