J K Dining Hall

J K Dining Hall is a simple place located on Mavdi Main Road in Rajkot. We are situated near the Jithariya Hanuman Temple, which is a big landmark for everyone living around here. Our exact spot is right by the Bapa Sitaram Chowk. This area, with the 360004 code, is always full of people going about their daily business. We opened the dining hall to give people a place to sit down and have a regular, hot meal. It is not a fancy restaurant with a big menu; we just focus on the basic dishes that people like to eat every day. The atmosphere is very casual, and we do not mind if it gets a bit loud when the hall is full of hungry people. Our staff is mostly local people from the neighborhood who know the regulars by name. Mavdi Main Road is a very busy stretch, so we get a lot of people coming in from the nearby shops and the surrounding houses. We keep the tables wiped down and the water glasses filled. There is no complicated philosophy here, just serving food at the times when people are hungry. We start our prep work in the kitchen early so everything is ready for the lunch crowd. The temple nearby brings in a lot of people, especially on certain religious days, so we have to be ready for those extra visitors. It is a steady way of life for us. We have been here for a while and just plan to keep going.
