Green Fuel Restaurant

Green Fuel Restaurant is right on the 150 Feet Ring Road in Rajkot. We are situated specifically at Madhapar Chokdi, which is a very busy intersection. If you have ever driven through Rajkot, you know how much traffic passes through this point. We set up here because there are always people on the road who need a place to stop. The name 'Green Fuel' is just something we liked; it doesn't mean we sell petrol or anything like that. We just sell food. The interior is quite plain with some metal chairs and heavy tables. We get a lot of sunlight through the front windows in the afternoon, which can make it a bit warm, but we have enough fans to keep it decent. The kitchen is visible from the seating area so you can see the guys cooking. We mostly serve local Gujarati items and some basic north Indian dishes. We don't do any elaborate plating or garnishing; the food just comes out on steel plates. The staff consists of a few local men who have been working together for a couple of years. It is a no-nonsense type of place. We don't have a fancy menu or a marketing person. We just focus on making sure the food is hot and the bill is correct. It is a stop for people who are busy and just want to eat. The noise from the Ring Road is constant, but you get used to it.
