We’ve been here at the top of The Galaxy Hotel for a while now. Most people know the spot on Jawahar Road right across from the State Bank. It’s on the 4th floor, so you have to take the lift up. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during lunch hours when everyone from the offices nearby comes over. Rajkot is a busy place and this corner of Jawahar Road is usually full of traffic. We just try to keep things running smoothly. The kitchen stays busy getting everything ready. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular place where people sit down and eat. We see a lot of the same faces every week, mostly locals who work around here or travelers staying in the hotel downstairs. The windows look out over the street and you can see the bank from up here. It gets noisy outside but it’s quieter once you’re inside. We don’t do anything too complicated. Just serving food the way we know how. Sometimes the staff is rushing around because the tables fill up fast. We try to keep the place clean and make sure nobody is waiting too long. It’s just us doing our daily work here in Rajkot. Nothing more to it. We hope the food is what you’re looking for when you climb up to the 4th floor.
