Foodbook

If you are on Kalawad Road in Rajkot, you’ve probably passed us. Foodbook is situated right near Parimal School and Atmiya College. We are also opposite Chatkazz. It’s a very loud part of the 360007 area. Students are everywhere during the day. They walk past in groups, talking and laughing. We spend a lot of time just watching the street. The shop is a basic space. We keep the doors open mostly. There’s always something to clean or move around. Working near colleges means there is never a quiet moment until late evening. We get our supplies from the local markets early in the morning. The traffic on Kalawad Road can be a real headache sometimes. We just focus on what’s inside the four walls. The furniture isn't brand new, but it works for what we need. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just show up, open the place, and wait for people to come in. Sometimes the rain makes everything a mess outside, and we have to mop the floor every ten minutes. It’s just part of the job. We know the other shop owners around here. We nod to them in the mornings. It’s a community of sorts. Rajkot is growing fast, but this little corner feels pretty familiar to us now. We just stay busy with the orders. It’s a lot of work to keep things organized, but we do our best with what we have.
