Darshan Caterers

We’ve been over here at Masonik Hall by Bhutkhana Chowk for quite a long time now. If you know Kanak Road, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s a lot of noise and people moving about, but we like it that way. Most mornings we start early when the sun is barely up to get everything ready. There’s always someone coming by to check on their order or just to say hello while we’re packing up the vans. We do things pretty simply around here. It’s not fancy, just us and the kitchen stuff. My brother helps out with the deliveries sometimes when things get really packed. Sometimes the traffic on Kanak Road makes us worry about timing, but we usually figure it out. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some shops closed, others opened, but we stayed right here near the hall. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where it is. If you're walking past Bhutkhana Chowk, you can usually smell whatever we’re cooking that day. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a big fancy office, just the space we need to get the job done. Sometimes we run out of space for all the big pots, so we have to move things around. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small place like Darshan Caterers. My cousin handles the phone while I handle the stoves in the back area.
