Annapurana Foods

You’ll find Annapurana Foods over on Vandan Vatika Society Road. Our place is Maruti, 1/2. It’s a nice enough area, a bit more quiet than the main commercial roads. We’ve been making food items here for some time now. It’s a small-scale operation, nothing like those giant factories you see on TV. Most of what we do is done by hand or with simple machines. We wake up early to start the preparation because food work always takes longer than you think. The smell of cooking or roasting often drifts out into the street. Neighbors sometimes pop their heads in to see what’s being made. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just focus on the food and making sure it tastes like it’s supposed to. It can get pretty busy around festive times, and the whole family ends up helping out. We’ve got a couple of regular tempos that come by to pick up the crates. Vandan Vatika Society Road is where we’ve put down our roots. We like the pace of things here. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to rush to the market, but that’s just part of the business. We don't claim to be the biggest or anything, we just do our work and hope people like what we make. It’s honest, local work and we’re happy to be doing it at our little spot in Maruti. We just take things one day at a time.
