Out here in Boda village, things move a bit slower than the big cities, and that's how we like it. Narsinghgarh Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited got its start because several of us in the Rajgarh area were tired of trying to manage everything by ourselves. We are based out of Prahlad Singh’s place on Umri Road. It’s a familiar spot for most of us who live nearby. We grow what we can and try to make sure we aren't getting a bad deal at the end of the season. Farming in this part of Madhya Pradesh has its ups and downs, especially when the rains don't come right or the pests get into the fields. By coming together under this name, we just feel a bit more prepared for whatever happens. It’s not about making a huge profit or anything fancy like that. It is mostly about making sure we can buy our supplies together and maybe get a better price when it’s time to move the harvest. You’ll see us around the village talking about the soil or what’s happening at the market. There aren't any big bosses here, just neighbors who have known each other for years. We do the work ourselves and help each other when someone’s tractor breaks down or the labor is short. It’s just how life goes in Boda. We are just farmers trying to keep the land going for the next generation.
