Spicer India Pvt.Ltd. is situated at the 29 Milestone on the Pune Nashik Highway. We are in a village called Kuruli, which is part of Tal-Khed. If you’re driving down the highway, it’s hard to miss the industrial feel of the area. It’s a big site because we deal with automotive parts, so there’s a lot of metal and heavy components moving around. The sound of the highway is always in the background, a constant rush of trucks and cars passing by. It’s a long commute for some of the staff who live in the city, but you get used to the drive after a while. The facility itself is huge, with different sections for various parts of the production process. It’s a busy place with a lot of people in uniforms and safety shoes. It’s not a quiet office environment; it’s a place where things are made. There’s a canteen where everyone grabs lunch, and that’s usually the loudest part of the day. The dust from the road sometimes settles on everything, so there’s a lot of cleaning to do.
