We are out here in Kharabwadi Chakan, right near the Racold building. It’s always busy around here with trucks and workers moving about. Dura Auto Systems India is just a group of us trying to get through the day’s production schedule. Usually, the morning starts with checking the machines and making sure everyone has what they need. It gets a bit loud sometimes, but that’s just how an auto parts place goes. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The road outside can be a mess when it rains, making it hard for deliveries, but we manage. You’ll see us mostly in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grease or dust from the floor. It’s not fancy work, just putting things together and making sure they fit right. We have our tea breaks out front and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood. Some of the guys have been here since the start, so we know each other pretty well. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but it pays the bills. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around for the generator to kick in. Chakan is a huge area, but we’ve settled into this corner pretty well. If you’re looking for us, just head towards Racold and you’ll find the gates. We don't have a big reception area or anything, just a desk and some chairs. It’s more about what happens back in the workshop.
