You’ll find us at the 29th Milestone on the Pune Nashik Road. Being out in Chaken means we are part of a huge hub of activity. Anand Automotive Ltd. is a busy place, and there is always something moving, whether it is a forklift in the yard or a truck pulling in from the highway. The drive out here from Pune can be a bit of a grind with the traffic, but once we’re at the plant, there is plenty to do. Our facility is built for work, not for show. We have rows of machines and assembly lines that keep going throughout the shifts. It gets quite loud inside, and you have to raise your voice to be heard sometimes. We make parts for vehicles, so there is a lot of pressure to keep things moving without any holdups. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or using big words to describe what we do. We just make automotive components. Some days the heat in Chakan is really something else, but we just get on with it. We eat our lunch together and then get back to the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the production numbers. We’ve been at this milestone for years, watching the road outside get busier and busier. It’s a practical life, and we are just one small part of the big automotive world out here. We just focus on the parts.
