Our place is over in Khondhwa, specifically in A-6 of Moraya Nagari. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main road markets. The office is on the ground floor, and you can usually hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons. Inside, we have a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. We handle a lot of paperwork and small supplies for other businesses. The walls are a plain off-white, and there’s a big calendar hanging near the door that we use to mark down dates. It’s not the kind of place where people just wander in off the street; usually, it’s people we’ve worked with for a while. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing things out on the old computer. The printer is a bit slow and makes a loud grinding noise when it starts up. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute about the local news. We keep a water pot in the corner for anyone who’s thirsty. The afternoon sun hits the windows directly, so we have to keep the curtains drawn halfway to see the screens. It’s a steady kind of work, nothing too exciting. We just try to keep everything organized so we don’t lose any important papers or files. It feels more like a home office than a big corporate space, which suits us just fine for now.
