We are located at Gala No. 11 and 12 in Banakar Vasti. If you are driving out from the Bhosari area on the Pune Nashik Highway, we are about 4 kilometers down the road. We are situated in Moshi, which is part of the Haveli taluka. It is a bit of a dusty location because of all the traffic on the highway, but that is fine for a business like Mentone Concrete Pvt. Ltd. Most of our time is spent looking at mix ratios and watching the heavy transit mixers roll in and out of the yard. The ground is usually grey from the cement dust, which is something you just get used to after a week on the job. It is a loud place when the machinery is humming, but we do not mind the noise too much. We started this business because we saw how much building was happening in this part of the state. We are not trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the concrete we send out is what the customer asked for. Sometimes the weather gets too hot or it rains, and that messes with how the concrete sets, so we have to stay on our toes. Most of the guys working here live nearby in the local villages, so we all know the area well. The office is just a simple place to sit and have tea while we wait for the next truck.
