Samarth Cement Pipe Production

Our yard is over in Peth Naigaon, specifically in the Wadachiwadi area. If you know where the Masoba Temple is, we are right near there, not far from the Old Pune Solapur Highway in Taluka Haveli. Making cement pipes is heavy, wet work. We spend a lot of time with molds and mixing concrete. It’s messy and your clothes get ruined pretty fast. We’ve got the big pipes stacked up in the yard, and they take up a lot of space. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t have any fancy computers or a big reception desk. Most of the time, I’m out there with the guys checking the curing or making sure the pipes aren't cracking in the sun. The highway noise is always in the background, which you get used to after a while. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere. We just focus on making the pipes right so they don't fail when they're put underground. It’s not something people think about much, but it's important. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the temple is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. It’s a quiet enough spot when the machines aren't running. We just take it day by day and try to keep the production moving along.
