Shree Vishwakarma Enterprises

Our workshop is located at 369 Indori, not too far from the Dharmanath Temple in Maval. It’s a good, quiet area to work in. We do a lot of fabrication and general enterprise work here. If something needs to be welded, cut, or put together, that’s usually what we’re doing throughout the day. The sound of metal on metal is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives at this point. We have a few different machines that take up most of the floor space, and there’s always a project half-finished on the main table. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, as there’s always a bit of grease or metal shavings around, but we try to keep things organized enough so we can find our tools. People from around Taluka Maval bring us stuff to fix or parts they need made for their farms or small factories. We don’t have a big office or anything like that; we usually just talk to folks right there on the shop floor. It’s easier to show someone what’s going on with their piece of equipment than to explain it over a desk. We’ve been here in Indori for a while and we know the local rhythms. We start early when it’s cool and try to get the heavy work done before the afternoon heat sets in. It’s just practical, everyday work for us that keeps things moving in the community while we keep our heads down and work.
