Down at Century Arcade on Narangi Baug Road, we keep things moving. This part of Bund Garden is usually quite nice with the trees, but our office is strictly about business. Since we deal in concrete, there is always a bit of grit involved. We spend most of our time coordinating with the mixing plants and the guys out on the construction sites. The phone rings constantly with people asking when the next truck is going to arrive or complaining about the traffic delays. It’s a lot of juggling schedules and making sure the mix is just right for whatever slab is being poured that day. Our office isn't one of those places where you have to wear a suit. Most of us have boots that have seen better days and we don't mind a bit of mud on the floor. We have maps of the city pinned to the walls so we can track where our loads are going. Sometimes we sit around the big table in the middle and just try to figure out the fastest route through the city during rush hour. It’s honest work and it gets tiring, especially when projects are running behind. We’ve been in this arcade for a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of buildings go up around us using the very stuff we provide. We just stick to what we know, which is heavy loads and solid foundations.
