We’re tucked away at No. 201 in the Sukhada Varda Sankul building, which is right near the Amba Mata Temple. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, except when there’s a festival at the temple. Our space is on Lane No. 27 in Sukhsagar No. 1. We handle a variety of general supplies and small parts for different local needs. It’s a small operation, mostly run from this one room where we keep our files and some of the smaller inventory. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or checking through catalogs to find what people are asking for. It’s not a fancy office, just a place to get the work done. We have a couple of old desks and a lot of shelves that are starting to sag a little under the weight of all the binders. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find a specific paper, but we get there in the end. Being near the temple means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We’ve settled into a routine over the years at this location. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising; mostly people just find us because they live nearby or someone told them we could help. It’s a practical way to spend the day, and we like being part of this little community. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come.
