Upstec

Upstec is over at Number 7 in Electronic Sadan-1, within the MIDC area of Bhosari. Being in the MIDC means we are surrounded by all sorts of technical and manufacturing units. Our space isn’t very big, but it’s enough for what we need. We focus on tech stuff, mostly related to power backups and similar electronics. It’s a very practical environment. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe some old diagrams taped up. We spend a lot of time testing units and making sure they don't fail when they are actually needed. Bhosari is a bit of a maze sometimes, but Electronic Sadan-1 is a pretty steady landmark for us. We’ve been working out of this unit for some time now. We don't really do the whole customer service thing in a corporate way. If you come by, you’ll likely find us with a screwdriver in hand or looking at a screen. We talk plainly about what’s wrong with a piece of equipment and how long it might take to fix. There are no polished brochures here. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the tea gets cold because we're busy with a stubborn circuit. It’s just the reality of running a small tech shop in an industrial zone. We like the work, even when it’s frustrating. It’s just us doing our thing in Bhosari. We aren't big on meetings or reports, we just get to work until it is finished.
