A To Z Chinese

Being at Ganraj Chowk Bhaji Market means it is always noisy and crowded. Our little place, A To Z Chinese, is right in the middle of all that Pune City energy. People are always buying vegetables and then they get hungry for some noodles or fried rice. We started this because we liked the spot. It’s not a big fancy restaurant with soft chairs. It’s just a place where you get your food and eat. Sometimes the market gets so loud you can’t hear the orders, but we manage. We’ve been at L 32 for some time now. The kitchen is small but it gets the job done. We see the same faces every day, mostly the other shopkeepers or people doing their weekly shopping. It gets really busy in the evenings when everyone is headed home. We use a lot of local ingredients from the stalls right next to us. It makes sense since they are right there. The floors are basic and we don't have fancy lights. Just a regular spot for regular people in the market. We don't do much talking, mostly just cooking and serving. If you walk through the Bhaji Market you will see us there near the corner. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the traffic and the construction around Pune City, but we keep our heads down and work. We just enjoy the daily rush of the city.
