Aangan Restaurant

Our restaurant, Aangan, is situated at S No 2 and 3 in the Meeranagar Housing Society. We are right on North Main Road in the Koregaon Park area of Pune, 411001. Koregaon Park is known for being quite a fancy neighborhood, but we are just a straightforward place tucked into a residential society. We have been here for a while, serving both the people who live in Meeranagar and those who work nearby. Our daily life is fairly predictable. We open the shutters early, get the cleaning done, and wait for the first customers of the day. We aren't a big corporate entity; it's just a local restaurant run by a small group of us. North Main Road is always full of traffic and people, but inside the society, it’s a little more relaxed. We don't use any marketing jargon or try to sound like something we aren't. We just provide a place to sit and eat. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or the delivery bikes block the entrance, but we just handle it. We know the faces of the people who live in the society and we enjoy being part of the local scene. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't have any grand plans; we just want to keep the kitchen running and the customers satisfied every day. This is our local spot on North Main Road.
