A To Z Mandap

If you go near the Masjid at Gokhale Nagar Market Yard, you'll find us. We've been handling the Mandap work here for a long time. It is a lot of heavy pipes, big pieces of cloth, and many many chairs. We spend most of our days loading and unloading trucks. The Market Yard is a very busy place in Pune, so we are used to the noise and the crowds. When someone is having a wedding or a local festival, they come to talk to us about the setup. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly sit out where the equipment is stored and figure out the schedule. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out and we have to put up a big structure. Everything we have has been used many times, but we keep it in good shape. We don't really do any advertising. People just see our name on the side of the trucks or they know us from the market. It’s a family-style business and everyone helps out with the lifting. We have been in Gokhale Nagar for so many years that we know every corner of the market. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being part of the local celebrations. We just take it one day at a time and try to get the decor looking right for the families.
