Agatya Pure Veg Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked away in Budhwar Peth, right behind the IDBI Bank in the Tulsi Baug area. If you know Pune, you know these lanes are narrow and always crowded with shoppers. We are located in the Kakakoowa Mansion Lane. The building is old, and you can feel the history of the place when you walk in. We focus on pure veg food because that’s what our customers want. Most of the people who eat here are locals who have been coming to Tulsi Baug for years. We don't have a lot of space, so the tables are quite close together. You can hear the kitchen staff working and the clinking of spoons. It gets very loud during the lunch hour. We don’t bother with expensive furniture. We use simple wooden chairs that do the job. The walls are painted a plain color, and we have a few fans to keep it cool. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have a website or a social media manager. We just open the shutters in the morning and get the stove going. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the lane, and we have to wait to get our supplies in. It’s just part of living and working in an old part of the city. We’ve been here for a while and we know the neighbors well. It’s a small, honest business.
