Truck Mix Concrete

Our office is right here in the Galleria building on Karve Road, tucked away in number 20. It isn’t much to look at most days, just a few desks and a lot of paper piling up from the deliveries. We spend most of our time answering the phone and trying to make sure the mix gets out to the sites without getting stuck in that Karve Road traffic, which as anyone around here knows, is a nightmare during rush hour. Most of the guys have been with us for years. We know the local contractors by their first names now. It’s a busy spot. You’ll usually see a few of our drivers hanging around the back waiting for their next route. We deal with concrete all day, so everything usually has a thin layer of dust on it. That’s just how it goes in this trade. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or the printer jams right when we need a manifest, but we figure it out. It’s just us trying to keep things moving. We’ve seen Pune change a lot from this office window. New buildings going up every week it seems. We just stay focused on our own yard and making sure the trucks are ready to roll when the sun comes up. It’s hard work and the days are long, but it’s what we know. We don’t have any big corporate speeches ready for you, just a lot of talk about cement and schedules.
