The Poona Concrete Products is based at Post Solu, within the Raj Guru Nagar Tehsil, specifically in Village Alandi. We are a bit away from the main city rush, which suits us just fine. Out here in the village, life moves at a slightly slower pace, but the work we do is still heavy and constant. We focus on making concrete items that the local community and nearby projects need. Our yard in Alandi is where we spend almost all our time. It’s a simple setup with the necessary tools and materials scattered around. We don't have a professional marketing department or any glossy brochures to hand out. Instead, people find out about us through word of mouth or by just passing by the village. The weather plays a big role in our daily schedule. When it’s the dry season, we are out there from sunrise to sunset. When the monsoons hit this part of Poona, we have to adjust and do what we can under the sheds. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we take pride in the fact that we handle everything ourselves. We have been part of this community for a long time, and we know our neighbors well. There’s nothing fancy about what we do; it’s just concrete, sand, and hard work. We are happy to stay small and local, serving the people right here in our own backyard. That is enough for us.
