T F Kothari

T F Kothari is located right here in Shukrawar Peth. Most people know the area because of the Shubhansha Dargah nearby, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. We have been on the Mulund Goregaon Road for a good while now. It gets really busy around here, especially in the mornings when the traffic starts picking up toward the station. You can hear the horns all day long from the front door. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep things organized the best we can. Sometimes the dust from the main road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. It’s a local spot and we see the same faces walking by every day going to work or the market. Being near the Dargah makes it easy to give directions to anyone who is looking for us. We just tell them to look for the landmark and then head towards the Mulund side. The building itself has that old feel to it, which we like. It has seen many monsoons and the walls have a few marks here and there. We don't have any big signs with flashing lights. It is just the name T F Kothari on the board. Most of our neighbors are small businesses too. We all kind of know each other and say hello while getting tea in the afternoon. It’s just how things are in this part of town.
