Sahyadri Industries

Sahyadri Industries is located on Fursungi Gaon Road, right near Gandhi Chowk. We are in the New Bazar area, close to the Shreenath Wear House. This part of town is very industrial, with a lot of dust from the trucks and the construction nearby. Our facility is at Sr No 164. It is a functional space where we have all our equipment and raw materials. When the machines are running, it gets quite loud inside, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. We do not have a separate fancy office for meetings or anything like that. Most of our discussions happen right on the floor or out in the yard. We have been operating here in Fursungi for several years and we know the other business people in the bazaar. The staff is made up of local people who live in the surrounding area. We start our shift early in the morning to beat the heat. There are always piles of materials waiting to be processed near the entrance. It is not a place that looks very pretty, but it is where the work happens. We keep our records in big books and use a computer for the more formal tasks. It is just a straightforward, practical business where we show up every day and do the manual work that is required.
